Allt na Criche is in Balgowan. It's a two bedroom cottage that sleeps four. You get some good views across the farm and up the valley from the front.
The cottage has underfloor heating and a wood burner, so it's always warm. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's one bathroom, it's a wet room on the ground floor. The place has a 4 Star rating.
The garden is enclosed and quiet. You can hear the burn running past. The name means 'boundary burn'. You can walk straight out from the back door.
You're right on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park. Laggan Wolftrax, the mountain bike centre, is basically next door. Aviemore is about half an hour's drive east. Fort William is about half an hour west.
In winter, the hills around here are often snow covered. In summer, you can just walk up them from the cottage. There's local fishing and a golf course nearby too.
Facilities: parking right outside. The entrance and wet room are wheelchair accessible, with grab rails. There's a TV and the Wi-Fi is included. Bedding and towels are provided. No pets.
