Kintulloch

Kintulloch is up in Drumguish. It's a single-storey bungalow, detached, so it's just you and the garden. The view from the front is over fields towards the hills and the Insh Marshes. Behind the house, there's nothing but land for miles.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, which is about right. It's comfortable and clean.

You'll see wildlife. Red squirrels come to the bird feeders if there are nuts out. Deer sometimes walk through the garden. Pine martens too, but they're more shy.

The Badenoch Way walking route goes past the house. You can walk into Glen Feshie from here for a long day out.

Kingussie is a few miles away. It's got shops, pubs, and places to eat. Loch Insh is close by if you want to do water sports. Aviemore is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car, and has more of everything.

For days out, the Cairngorms National Park site is useful. The Highland Folk Museum in Newtonmore is good if you like history. The RSPB has information on the Insh Marshes reserve right out the window.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a TV, and WiFi. Washing machine, parking, all included. No pets.
