Baobab Lodge is a detached house on the hill in Prestatyn. It has sea views.
It sleeps nine people across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite to the master bedroom. The stairs are normal stairs. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. It has double bunk beds that sleep three, so it’s good for kids or friends sharing.
There are two living areas. One is a separate lounge with a wood burner. The other is part of an open-plan space with the kitchen and dining area. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine.
Outside there’s a large, enclosed patio terrace with seating. It’s a good spot in the sun.
It’s a 5 Star property, which means it’s well-equipped and finished to a high standard. Bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
Prestatyn town centre and the beach are about two miles away, so you’ll likely want to drive. The beach is sandy and there’s a promenade.
For walking, you’ve got the Offa’s Dyke Path nearby. The Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right there too. Both are about a 10-minute drive for the trailheads.
Within half an hour you can get to Rhyl, which has a SeaQuarium and a theatre. Llandudno, with the Great Orme and pier, is about 30 minutes by car. Chester, with the Roman walls and zoo, is also within that drive.
