You're a mile from the beach. It's a straight drive down. The town centre is close if you need shops or a supermarket.
For things to do, Rhuddlan Castle is just a few minutes away. It's a proper ruined castle, good for a wander. Cadw Rhuddlan Castle has the history if you want to read up. Bodelwyddan Castle is about a quarter of an hour's drive. It's a big Victorian house with gardens.
Prestatyn is a 15 minute drive up the coast. It has a nice promenade and the Nova Centre for swimming. The Dyserth Waterfall is about 20 minutes inland. It's a short walk to see it.
If you want the mountains, Snowdonia is under an hour's drive. The Snowdonia National Park site has walking routes and parking info. It's a straightforward drive from here.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair in the cupboard if you need them. No pets.
