Cedar is on the High Street in this Suffolk village. It's a barn conversion, set in about three acres of grounds. Those grounds are shared with two other holiday barns. It's a good spot.
The barn sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a shower room is on the ground floor, so there's step free access. The stairs are normal. It's got a four star rating.
Outside, you have your own patio with a barbecue and a private hot tub. There's also a shared, fully enclosed dog field that's about an acre in size. That's why we accept two well-behaved dogs. It gives them space to run.
Inside, it's open plan with a wood burning stove and a smart television. There's an electric oven, a dishwasher, and a washing machine in a shared laundry room on site. Bedding and towels come with it. Parking is right there.
The village has a shop and a decent pub. They're about a five minute drive away, maybe four or five miles.
For days out, Bungay and Beccles are nearby, both have riverside walks. Southwold on the coast is about a twenty minute drive. The beach is sandy, and the town has a pier and plenty of cafes. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe 35 minutes, known for the fish and chips. Norwich is about half an hour away if you want a city day, or the coast.
For planning trips, Visit Suffolk is a good start. The National Trust Suffolk Coast page covers the local area.
