Clee View Cottage is in Cleehill. It's a former quarryman's cottage. You get the views straight away. It looks west over Tenbury Wells and the Welsh hills.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge. The main bedroom has the best view.
The stairs are cottage stairs. They turn a corner and are a bit steep.
There's a small garden at the front to sit in. It catches the sun in the morning. Inside, there's a woodburner for cooler evenings. Everything else you'd expect is there: wifi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.
You're out on your own up here. The nearest shop, pub, and cafe are about three miles away in Cleobury Mortimer. They're fine for basics.
For a bigger shop and things to do, Ludlow is eight miles. It's a proper market town with a castle, good food shops, and pubs. The Ludlow Food Festival is in September if your timing's right.
You can walk straight onto the Shropshire Way from the cottage. The hill itself is good for a hike if you want a proper climb.
Within half an hour you can get to places like Bridgnorth or Ironbridge. Stokesay Castle is about 20 minutes by car. It's worth a look.
No pets, sorry. There's parking for two cars on the drive.
