The Cider House is in Clee St Margaret, up in the Clee Hills. It's a detached stone cottage from about 1747. You're on our farm, which is about 180 acres. It's very quiet.
It sleeps three people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable, not modern. You come in through the kitchen, which has the old slab floor. The sitting room has the original bread oven in the wall and a wood burner. The stairs are old and a bit steep.
The garden is a good size and fully enclosed. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. We've also put in an outdoor pizza oven. The garden has plum, apple, damson and pear trees. You're welcome to any fruit that's ripe.
We take up to two dogs. There's a dog run attached to the garden, and we leave bowls and a dog bed. There's an outdoor hose for cleaning muddy paws.
You're down narrow country lanes here, so just take it slow on the way in. There are 500 acres of common land right next door with a Roman fort on it, which is good for a walk. Ludlow is about seven miles south. It's a proper market town with good shops and places to eat. The National Trust have a few properties nearby like Attingham Park. Bridgnorth, Ironbridge and Church Stretton are all within half an hour's drive.
What's here: parking right outside, WiFi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher, cot and highchair. All bedding and towels are included. The heating and electricity are included in the price.
