This is Anglers Haven. It's a lodge on a fishing lake estate near Denver in Norfolk. It's just off the main road between Downham Market and King's Lynn, so it's easy to get to but feels quiet once you're on site.
The lodge sleeps six in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. One is an ensuite off the main bedroom with a shower, and there's a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's modern and clean, everything works as it should.
You look straight out onto one of the fishing lakes. That's the main thing. It's peaceful. The private patio faces the water. If you're into fishing, your stay includes access to course fish the lakes. If you're not, it's still a nice view to have with a cup of tea.
Inside, it's all on one level. There's a decent sized living area with a smart TV and doors out to the patio. The kitchen is separate, with a table for six, a dishwasher and fridge-freezer. It has everything you'd need to cook. There's also a downstairs loo.
For facilities: WiFi, parking, bedding and towels are all included. There's a highchair if you need one.
Denver village has a couple of shops and pubs. Downham Market, about three miles away, is your proper market town with supermarkets, more shops and places to eat. The coast at places like Hunstanton or Heacham is about half an hour's drive. The Norfolk Broads are roughly 45 minutes. Thetford Forest is a bit further, maybe 50 minutes.
If you've got a bigger group, there are two other identical lodges right next to this one, so you could book them all together.
