Greenbank Cottage is on Ten Mile Bank in Norfolk. It's one of a pair overlooking the River Great Ouse.
The cottage sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you have a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet.
You can sit outside and watch the river. It's very quiet here. People come for the fishing, or for walking and cycling along the bank.
The local village has a pub and a butcher. For a bigger shop, you'll need to drive to Downham Market or one of the other nearby villages, all within about three miles.
Downham Market is a historic market town about ten minutes away by car. For days out, the Welney Wetlands are good for birdwatching. Denver Windmill does cream teas. Sandringham Estate is about a 40-minute drive. The coast at Hunstanton is just under an hour. Wells-next-the-Sea and Holkham Hall are also within an hour's drive. The cities of Ely, Norwich, and Cambridge are all within about an hour too.
Facilities: there's WiFi, a washing machine, parking, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot.
