Swan Gold Hill

This place is called Swan. It’s one of a row of converted barns on our farm, out in the Cambridgeshire Fens. People come here for the quiet, the big skies and the sunsets.

It's for four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and clean, not luxury. It's all on one level, which is handy.

The barns are arranged around a courtyard. That's where the indoor heated pool and hot tub are. You book slots to use them. Outside, there's a patio area with a BBQ, and it looks out over the fields.

You're welcome to walk on the farm. It's 280 acres of arable land, so it's flat with proper footpaths. Good for a stroll. The nearest pub is about three miles away in Littleport.

Ely is six miles away. The cathedral is the thing to see. It's massive and the history around it is interesting. There are riverside walks there too if you want a change from the fields. Cambridge is about a 30 minute drive, King's Lynn about 45.

Inside, it’s open plan. There's a kitchen with a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
