Swan Gold Hill

Swan is one of a cluster of converted barns, right in the middle of the Cambridgeshire Fens. It's on our working farm. The landscape is dead flat, so you get huge skies. The sunsets can be spectacular.

It sleeps four. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom, all on the ground floor. It's got the 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The living area is open plan.

You get a patio with a barbecue. There's a shared, heated indoor swimming pool you can book slots for, and a hot tub. The farm is 280 acres, and you're welcome to walk the footpaths around the fields.

The nearest village for a shop or a pub is Littleport, about three miles away. It's got a couple of riverside pubs that do food.

Ely is about six miles away. The cathedral is the main thing. You can see it for miles. The town has narrow streets and walks by the river. Further out, Cambridge is roughly a 30 minute drive for the colleges and the Backs. King's Lynn is about 45 minutes in the other direction, by the Wash.

Facilities: there's a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
