Reed Lodge Littleport

Reed Lodge is one of two lodges here at Wood Fen, near Littleport. It's in the Cambridgeshire fens, so the views are big and open. You get your own garden and a hot tub.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have their own bathrooms, which is handy. The rating is 5 Star, so everything is in good order. It's got a wood burner for cooler evenings.

It's a quiet spot. The on-site spa does treatments if you book ahead. The nearest shop is about a mile away, and there's a pub and restaurant two miles down the road.

If you drive for an hour, you can get to the coast at Hunstanton. It's a classic seaside town with a long beach. To the north, you've got Thetford Forest for walking and cycling. Duxford's Imperial War Museum is about 45 minutes south, if you're into planes.
