Pheasant
Pheasant is one of a group of converted barns on our farm just outside Gold Hill. We're on the edge of the Fens, so you get big skies and quiet lanes.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean, comfortable and practical. It's on one level, so that's good if stairs are a problem for you. The floorplan is straightforward.
Being a farm, it's peaceful here. You can walk out from the door on the farm tracks. We're an arable farm, so it's just fields and skies.
There's an indoor heated swimming pool on site that all the barns share. You book slots for it. There's also a covered courtyard area and a hot tub.
Littleport village is about three miles away. It has a few shops and some pubs by the river. Ely is about six miles. The cathedral is the main thing to see. You can walk along the river there too.
Cambridge is roughly a 30 minute drive. King's Lynn is about 40 minutes away if you fancy the coast.
In terms of what's there: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
