Alright, this is Heron. It's over in Gold Hill, near Ely in Cambridgeshire. It's one of a few converted barns on the owner's farm. You're quite tucked away here.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean. Not huge, but it does the job. Everything's on one floor, which is handy.
You've got your own patio area out the back. The main reason you'd come here, if I'm honest, is the shared pool and hot tub. They're indoors, so you can use them whatever the weather.
The farm is about 280 acres of arable land. There are footpaths you can walk on. The Fens are flat, so it's easy walking. The big thing here is the sky. It's huge. Sunsets can be really good.
Ely is about ten minutes' drive, maybe six miles. You have to see the cathedral. It's massive for the size of the place. The town's got shops and cafes, a marina. Littleport is closer, about three miles, for a shop or a pub.
Cambridge is probably 40 minutes. King's Lynn is about the same, the other way. Both are good for a day out.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. They've got a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets allowed.
If you're looking into things to do, the Visit Ely site is useful. For the wider area, Visit Cambridge has info.
