Herons Nest is in Denver, Norfolk, on a site with fishing lakes. It’s a one-bedroom lodge that sleeps two. It’s just been done up and it’s got a 4 Star rating, so everything’s new and clean.
The main room is open-plan with a kitchen, a table, and a sofa with a TV. Doors go out from there into a conservatory, which is a nice spot to sit and look out at the water. The bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite shower room. There are patio areas at the front and back.
If you like fishing, your stay includes access to the lakes right outside. Even if you don't fish, it's peaceful to look at. You'll see birds and things.
The village of Denver has a couple of pubs and some walks. Downham Market is about three miles away for shops and things. You can drive to the Norfolk coast, like Heacham or Hunstanton, in under half an hour. The Norfolk Broads are about 45 minutes away. Thetford Forest is roughly the same.
Included: all the utilities, WiFi, parking, bedding and towels. There’s no pet allowance. It’s a single lodge but there are others on the same site if you’re booking for a bigger group.
