Borders Cottage is in Coldstream town centre. It's a townhouse, so it's tall and thin. You've got neighbours either side.
It sleeps five in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, one is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's well looked after and everything works. The layout is open plan downstairs.
The garden is sunny, but you get to it through a shared bit first. There are some stone steps down to it.
Coldstream is a small town. There's a pub nearby, and shops are a short walk. The River Tweed is just there for a walk. The Hirsel Estate is on the edge of town, good for longer walks.
You're right on the border. It's about a 25 minute drive to Berwick-upon-Tweed and the coast. The beaches at Coldingham and St Abbs are good, that's about half an hour. Northumberland National Park starts maybe 20 minutes south for driving. For a day out, Kelso or Jedburgh are nearby, or you can go further into Northumberland.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate if you need it.
