The Coach House Longtown

The Coach House is in Longtown. It's part of a Georgian manor house, but you get it to yourselves. We finished the renovation in 2024.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with kingsize beds. One bathroom upstairs with a good shower, plus a separate toilet downstairs. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything is new and works. The stairs are normal.

You've got your own enclosed garden at the front for sitting out. You're also welcome to walk around the main grounds. The kitchen and living area is all one open space downstairs. There's a wood burner for colder nights. It has smart controls for the lights and music, and an electric vehicle charger.

Longtown has a local shop and a couple of pubs within walking distance. Carlisle is about a 15 minute drive for bigger shops, the castle, and the cathedral.

You're well placed here. Hadrian's Wall is close by. The North Pennines and the Solway Coast are both about 20 minutes' drive. The edge of the Lake District National Park is maybe half an hour. Gretna Green is just over the Scottish border, about a 15 minute drive.

Facilities: all the bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, cot, highchair, and a stairgate. Parking is on site. You can bring up to two dogs.
