Egmont Farmhouse Northiam

Egmont Farmhouse is a detached house near Northiam in East Sussex. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields around you.

The house sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect in an old farmhouse.

You have your own garden with a patio, a barbecue, and a hot tub. There's also a wood-fired pizza oven you can book to use privately. Inside, there's a log burner in the living room. The kitchen has a Range cooker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.

The Wi-Fi is good. We don't accept pets.

There's a local pub about a mile away, in the village. It serves food. The village has a shop and an Indian restaurant.

You're about four miles from Rye. It's an old town with cobbled streets and good places to eat. Camber Sands beach is a 20 minute drive. The River Rother is nearby for paddleboarding or boat hire.

If you want to explore further, Bodiam Castle is about fifteen minutes away by car. The National Trust looks after it. For a longer day out, the South Downs are within half an hour.
