Flaxpool Well Garden Room is in Flaxpool, Somerset. It’s a detached lodge on our grounds. You’re on your own here, it's quiet.

It’s a 4 Star place for two people. One bedroom and one bathroom, both en suite. The bed's a super king size. The shower room is a good size, with a double shower cubicle.

The main room is open plan, with a sofa, table, and a kitchenette. Both that room and the bedroom have doors leading straight out onto your own sundeck. There’s a table and chairs out there. The view looks over the garden and fields.

It’s listed as pet-friendly, so one dog is welcome.

The deck is yours, plus there’s parking right next to the lodge.

We live on site, so if you need anything, we’re here. There’s a washing machine and tumble dryer you’re welcome to use in our house if you get muddy.

The village of Crowcombe is about two minutes away by car. There's a pub there, a shop with a post office, and a church.

You’re right on the edge of the Quantock Hills. You can walk straight into them from Crowcombe. They’re an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The poet Coleridge lived nearby in Nether Stowey, at a place now run by the National Trust. If you’re walking, the Quantock Hills website is useful.

If you want to go further, the coast at Watchet or Minehead is about a twenty-minute drive. Dunster Castle is about twenty-five minutes. Exmoor National Park is half an hour away.
