The Mill House is a detached stone cottage on our farm in Aisholt. We live in the main farmhouse. You get the whole place and garden to yourselves.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's got underfloor heating and a woodburner.
You're right in the countryside here. The cottage looks out over our fields and you can walk straight out from the door. You'll often see deer. There are footpaths everywhere into the Quantock Hills. It's very quiet.
The village is small, just a few houses and a church. The nearest shop is about two miles away in Spaxton. The nearest pub is the Rising Sun at Nether Stowey, two and a half miles. It does food.
For a day out, the coast at Kilve is about fifteen minutes by car. It's rocky and good for fossil hunting at low tide. Watchet's a small harbour town, also about fifteen minutes away. Dunster with its castle is roughly twenty-five minutes. National Trust Somerset has details on local places.
Facilities: we've put in a dishwasher and washing machine. There's parking right outside. The garden has a patio with furniture. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
