The Mill House is in Aisholt, which is about six miles from Nether Stowey. It's a detached cottage on our farm. You're on your own, but we're in the main farmhouse if you need anything.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been restored, so it's got mod cons but still feels like an old place. The ceilings are low in a couple of spots.
You get the garden to yourselves. It looks out over our fields. You're welcome to walk in them. There's parking right outside the front door.
There's a shop two miles away in Holford. The pub in Aisholt is about two and a half miles. It's a proper walk, so you'd want to drive.
The Quantock Hills are right there. You can walk straight out onto the bridleways. Good for walking and mountain biking. Aisholt Wood is a local nature reserve. You'll see deer about.
For the coast, Kilve is about eight miles. It's rocky with rock pools. Watchet is a bit further, that's a harbour town. Dunster and its castle are within half an hour.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove, wifi, a TV, a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
