The Granary is on our farm in Courtway. We have horses. It used to be a grain store, but it's been converted for a few years now. It sleeps three people.
There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed. The other has a single. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The ceilings are high because of the old roof structure, so it feels quite spacious inside.
The farm is in the Quantock Hills. It's quiet here, just fields and hills. You can see for miles. We have a shared games barn with a snooker table and table tennis anyone staying can use. There's also a shared outside area with seating and a barbecue.
If you like walking, you can step right out onto the footpaths. The National Trust Quantock Hills page has good routes. There's a pub about two miles away that does food. The nearest shop is about three and a half miles.
Taunton is roughly eight miles for supermarkets and other shops. The coast at East Quantoxhead is about eleven miles. It's a stony beach, good for fossil hunting.
Within about half an hour you can get to Dunster for the castle, or Watchet. The Exmoor National Park isn't far. Wells and Glastonbury are also within an hour's drive.
Facilities: There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. Sorry, no pets.
