Primrose is a two-bedroom cottage on the edge of the Quantocks, near Bridgwater. It's one of four, built in 2021. They're all new builds, so everything works and it's all underfloor heating.
It sleeps five. The layout is upside down to get the views. The bedrooms are on the ground floor. One has a super king bed that can be made into two singles, and its own shower room. The other has another super king that can be split, plus a single bed. There's a second bathroom with a bath and a walk in shower.
Upstairs is the living area. It's open plan, with a kitchen, dining table and sofa. The main feature is the view. The doors open onto a balcony. You can see the Bristol Channel and, if it's very clear, Glastonbury Tor in the distance.
Outside there's an enclosed garden with a hot tub, barbecue and seating.
You're right on the edge of the Quantock Hills, so walking is on the doorstep. The coast is about a ten minute drive. Kilve has a pebble beach for fossil hunting. The bigger beaches and towns like Minehead, Watchet and Burnham-on-Sea are within half an hour.
Nether Stowey is a mile away for basics. For a proper shop, Bridgwater is closest. Taunton, Wells, and Exmoor are all within a 30 minute drive.
It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well equipped. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair and stairgate. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
