This is The Linhay. It's in Rhode, Somerset. It's a single-storey place, sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's been recently done up. It's all open plan inside, with patio doors looking out over fields. The bed is a kingsize. The bathroom has both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It's designed for wheelchair access, and we've got grab rails and a shower seat available if you need it.
Outside, there's a patio with a table and chairs. It's not enclosed, but it gets the sun. There's parking right by the cottage, with electric gates.
It's very quiet here. You're right at the bottom of the Quantock Hills, which is good walking country. The AONB website has maps: Quantock Hills.
Bridgwater is about three miles away for shops. The coast is about a 20 minute drive. Kilve beach is good for fossils. Burnham-on-Sea and Minehead are that way too.
You're in a decent spot for day trips. Exmoor National Park is north, maybe 40 minutes to an hour. Exmoor National Park. To the south, you've got Wells with the cathedral, or Street for the Clarks Village outlet. Bath, Bristol and Exeter are all within an hour's drive.
Facilities: It has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. The WiFi is Starlink, so it's decent. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs. No golf on site, but there are courses nearby.
