Dragonfly One

Dragonfly One is a ground floor cottage by the canal in North Newton. It's one of three cottages next to each other, which are sometimes booked together but you'll have your own space.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The main living area is open plan. You get an enclosed private courtyard garden outside the bedroom.

The local pub is about a three minute walk away. They do food. The shop is in the next village, about a mile's drive.

The Bridgwater and Taunton Canal runs right past the property. It's good for walks and fishing. Maunsel Lock is close by, where you can get a boat trip or stop at the tea rooms.

You're between the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills. The Quantock Hills AONB is about a twenty minute drive for walking. Exmoor National Park and the coast are within a forty-five minute drive. Taunton is about fifteen minutes away by car.

Facilities are straightforward. There's a washing machine, WiFi, a TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are available. You can bring up to two dogs.

For planning days out, the Exmoor National Park site is useful.
