Dragonfly Two is a barn conversion on the grounds of Newton House in North Newton. It's part of a set of three holiday lets. This particular one is one of the semi-detached ones, situated on the first floor. You get to it via an external staircase.
It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is Four Star. You've got your own private patio garden down at ground level.
The village itself is quiet. There's a pub that does food about 150 yards away, which is handy. The shop is a mile away in the other direction, so you'll likely drive.
It's a good spot if you like being outside. The Bridgwater and Taunton Canal runs right past the village. You can walk along it, and it's popular for fishing. Maunsel Lock is nearby, where you can get a boat trip or stop at the tea room. We're between the Somerset Levels and the Quantock Hills, so the landscape is flat in one direction and hilly in the other. Both are good for walks or cycling.
Exmoor National Park and the Blackdown Hills are within about a 30 minute drive if you want to go further.
In terms of what's there: wifi, TV, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. The property allows up to two pets.
