Dragon Fly Cottage is in Huntworth, Somerset. It's one of two cottages we have here, semi-detached from the other one. They look out over our twelve acre lake. You get a lot of wildlife: deer, swans, badgers. Great if you like birdwatching.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is yours to use.
The best thing is the location. It feels properly rural, but you're not far from things. There are two pubs serving food about a ten minute walk away. The nearest shop is about three miles, in Bridgwater.
The Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is right on the doorstep for walking. The Somerset coast and beaches, like Minehead and Burnham-on-Sea, are about a half hour drive. Exmoor National Park is also within thirty minutes if you want more dramatic scenery.
For a day out, you've got Glastonbury Tor about forty minutes away. Wells Cathedral is a bit closer. Bristol and its attractions are around an hour's drive.
In terms of what's here, the place has WiFi, a washing machine, and parking on site. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding is included. There's storage for bikes. Sorry, no pets.
