Ladybird Cottage
Ladybird Cottage is one of two semi-detached places by our lake. It's on the edge of Huntworth, which is quiet countryside. You get your own garden patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so everything works and it's kept clean and tidy. The Wi-Fi is decent.
There are two pubs you can walk to in about ten minutes. Both do food. The nearest shop is in North Petherton, about three miles away.
The main thing here is the lake. It's 12 acres. You'll see swans, herons, and sometimes deer in the fields. There's fishing if you have a license. There's a small play area for kids on the property.
For days out, it's easy to get around. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is about half an hour's drive. The Quantock Hills and the Somerset National Landscape areas are close for walking. Glastonbury Tor is about 25 minutes away. Wells is 40 minutes.
Things here: parking right outside, a washing machine, a cot and highchair available, bedding is included. Sorry, no pets.
