This is my place in Bishops Lydeard. It's called Pete's Place because that's my name. It's a stone cottage up a little lane. The main thing is the garden, it's walled and big and looks out over the fields. You can see for miles.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both doubles. One bathroom upstairs. There's a downstairs loo as well. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's comfortable and I keep it clean.
The living room has this big, carved fireplace. It's the original one. The kitchen has what you'd need. The hot tub is in the garden. It's private.
You can bring dogs, up to two. There's a secure area for them off the garden if you need it, and a summer house up there.
The village has a shop and a couple of pubs. They're a short walk. The West Somerset Railway station is here too. You can get a steam train to Minehead. It's a nice trip.
You're right on the edge of the Quantock Hills. Good for walking or cycling straight from the door. Exmoor is about a half hour drive. The coast at Minehead or Blue Anchor is about twenty minutes.
For days out, Cheddar Gorge and Wookey Hole are within half an hour. Glastonbury Tor is about forty minutes. Wells is a bit closer.
