This is Ivy Cottage. It's in Marshchapel, a village in north Lincolnshire. The cottage is detached, but it's in the garden of our main house. You'll have your own space.
It sleeps two, one bedroom and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a clean, comfortable place to come back to after being out. It's got everything you need, nothing's missing, but it's not huge. It's a good spot for a couple.
You get the patio area to yourself. The big thing here is the garden pub. It's a heated log cabin we built, with a projector and Wi-Fi. It's for guests to use. It's bring your own drink. We open it when we can, mostly weekends and evenings, but it's not on a strict timetable. If we're around and you're here, it'll probably be open.
Location wise, it's quiet. You're three miles from the coast. Cleethorpes is about ten minutes in the car if you want a proper beach, a pier, and all that. It's a typical seaside town.
Louth is a market town about twenty minutes away. It's nice for a wander, good for independent shops. The Lincolnshire Wolds are right there if you like walking. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Donna Nook is along the coast. The seal colony is there from November into December. It gets busy but it's quite a thing to see. Cadwell Park, the motor racing circuit, is about forty minutes inland if that's your interest.
Facilities are all included: parking, Wi-Fi, TV, bedding and towels. There's bike storage if you bring them. No pets, I'm afraid.
