Macey's Cottage

This is Macey's Cottage. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It's detached and you've got your own enclosed garden on the side.

It's just one of three cottages here, on the edge of North Somercotes. The village is quiet. There are a couple of pubs, a shop, and a takeaway about half a mile away. The on-site bar is about fifty yards from your door. You can sit out there and look over the fishing lake.

The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's on one level inside, which is easy. There's a shower, a TV, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.

You can walk or cycle from the door. The main reason people come here is for the coast and the nature. Donna Nook Seal Sanctuary is about two miles away. From late October to December, you can see the seals having their pups on the beach. It gets very busy then.

Mablethorpe, with its sandy beach and amusements, is about eleven miles north. Cleethorpes is fifteen miles south. Louth is an eight-mile drive inland. It's a nice market town with good shops and places to eat.

If you're planning to explore the area, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust has good information on nature reserves, and Lincolnshire County Council lists the local walking routes.

No pets, I'm afraid.
