Nursery Cottage is one of four cottages on Meals Farm, between the village of North Somercotes and the coast. It's a single-storey bungalow, so everything's on the ground floor. It sleeps four, with two bedrooms and one bathroom which is a wet room with grab rails.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. You get your own enclosed garden and patio area. It's quiet here, just fields and the farmyard.
The village is about a mile away. It's got two pubs that do food, a couple of small shops, and a few takeaways. For a bigger shop, Louth is about a 20 minute drive.
Donna Nook beach and nature reserve is just over a mile down the lane. It's a big sandy beach. The seal colony is there in the winter, from about October to December. It gets very busy when the seals are pupping, so you have to follow the wardens' instructions.
Mablethorpe and Cleethorpes are both within half an hour's drive if you want a traditional seaside day out. The Lincolnshire Wolds are about 25 minutes inland for walking.
Facilities wise: it has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
