Avalon Grainthorpe

It's called Avalon. It's a bungalow in Grainthorpe, which is a quiet village on the Lincolnshire coast. It's detached, but it's next to our house. You get the whole place and the garden to yourselves.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well equipped and comfortable.

It's about four miles to the beach. The coast here is good for walking. You've got Mablethorpe one way and Cleethorpes the other, both about a fifteen minute drive. They're proper seaside towns with sand, amusements, that sort of thing. Cleethorpes has a pier.

Louth is eight miles inland. It's a nice market town with good shops and places to eat. Hubbards Hills there is good for a walk. Grimsby isn't far if you need bigger shops, and they've got the Fishing Heritage Centre.

From the door, you can get straight onto some walking and cycling routes. If you're into fishing or golf, there are places nearby.

For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and you can park right outside. The garden is enclosed. There's bike storage. Sorry, no pets.
