Granary is one of a few cottages here at Meals Farm. It's a converted granary building, red brick, in North Somercotes.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, one double and one twin. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and comfortable. It's warm and solid. The stairs up to the bedrooms are a ship's ladder, which is steep. You need to be okay with that.
You've got your own enclosed patio with a table and chairs. It's private. Parking is right outside the door.
Inside, there's everything you'd expect. A TV, WiFi, a dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
The village is about a mile away. There's a couple of pubs, a shop, and some takeaways. It's handy. Donna Nook beach and nature reserve is just over a mile from here. You can walk it if you don't mind a trek down the lane. The seals there in the winter are a big draw. The beach is sandy and huge when the tide's out.
If you want to explore, you're a half hour drive from Lincoln. The cathedral is worth seeing. Mablethorpe and Skegness are along the coast for a traditional seaside day. The Lincolnshire Wolds are inland for walking. The area is very flat, so it's good for cycling if you bring bikes.
