Cloverleaf

Cloverleaf is one of two cottages converted from a barn on the edge of the Saltfleetby-Theddlethorpe Dunes nature reserve. It's about a fifteen minute walk from the beach.

It's a three star property, sleeps two, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs are quite steep, so it might not suit someone with mobility issues. There are grab rails in the bathroom, though.

The bedroom looks out over fields. The main living area is open plan with French doors that open onto your own enclosed garden. It's got a sofa, an armchair, and a dining table. There's a washing machine, towels and bedding are included, and you can park right outside.

You can bring up to two dogs. There's a shop and a pub that does food about a mile away.

The area is very quiet. You're right on the edge of the nature reserve, so it's good for birdwatching or just walking. The coastal path runs through here. You can walk to the seal colony at Donna Nook from the cottage when they're pupping in the winter.

For a day out, Mablethorpe and Skegness are along the coast. Lincoln is under an hour's drive. It's got the cathedral and castle, and the Christmas market is popular if you're here in December. Market Rasen has the racecourse.

If you want to plan walks or find out more about the reserve, these sites are useful: Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Lincolnshire Wolds.
