Beach & Tonic Humberston

It's called Beach & Tonic. It's a chalet bungalow on the Humberston Fitties in Lincolnshire. Detached, so no neighbours through the walls.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Simple, clean, comfortable. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or dogs. You're allowed up to two pets.

The big thing is the location. It's a five minute walk to the dunes and the beach. It's a proper sandy beach, good for families. You see people with kayaks and paddleboards. The Humberston Fitties itself is an old holiday village, it was used by soldiers in the wars. Now it's just rows of colourful chalets.

If you walk along the seafront for about a mile, you get into Cleethorpes. That's where the pier is, and the amusements, and the shops and restaurants. It's a classic seaside town.

For a day out, you can drive down the coast to Mablethorpe. Or go to Donna Nook to see the seals when they're breeding. There's a sailing club on the Fitties if that's your thing. Local golf and horse riding too.

Inside, it's got what you need. Washing machine, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking.
