Yardie View looks out over the Moray Firth. It’s a whitewashed, detached cottage right on the coast road just east of Buckie.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. You’ve got a king size on the ground floor and twins up in the loft. It has a 5 Star rating. It’s well kept and everything works.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen, dining area, sitting room with a wood burning stove. There's a TV and wi-fi. The patio garden is enclosed, which is handy if you bring a dog.
Speaking of which, you can bring one well-behaved pet. There’s a washing machine and bedding and towels are included.
Buckie is a working fishing town. It’s honest. There’s a local pub. For a proper walk, the Moray Coast Trail is right there. You can see dolphins from the shore sometimes.
Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie is about ten minutes drive west. It’s good for a photo. Spey Bay, for more wildlife, is about twenty minutes the other way.
If you golf, there are courses nearby. Duff House Royal at Banff is about half an hour. For whisky, you’re on the edge of Speyside. The Glenlivet Distillery is roughly a 40 minute drive inland.
