Three Creeks Cottage is in Portknockie. It's a traditional fisherman's cottage right on the edge of the village, a minute's walk from the beach.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. Everything is on the ground floor, which is useful. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, clean and recently done up, but it's not huge. It's a cottage.
The living room has a wood burning stove. The kitchen has what you need. Outside there's a private paved garden with seating. You can hear the sea from there.
The beach is at the end of the road. There's a shop and a pub about 200 yards away. The pub does food. The village has a famous fish and chip shop. For a restaurant, you'd go to Cullen, which is about two miles along the coast. They do cullen skink there.
You're right on the Moray Firth Coastal Path for walking. The views are dramatic. If you're lucky you might see dolphins from the shore. For a better chance, you can take a boat trip from Buckie, which is four miles away. The Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay is about a half hour drive.
There are several golf courses nearby if that's your thing. The Speyside Malt Whisky Trail starts about a 20 minute drive inland, if you fancy a tour.
Facilities: there's wifi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. No pets allowed.
