This is Three Creeks Cottage in Portknockie. It's a small, traditional fisherman's cottage right by the sea. You can hear the waves from the garden.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor. One double, one with twin beds. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The living room has a wood burning stove. The kitchen has what you need. There's a private paved garden with a seat.
You're about a hundred yards from the beach. There's a shop and a hotel that does food about two hundred yards away. The village has a good fish and chip shop.
For a wander, the neighbouring village of Cullen is two miles along the coast. They do cullen skink there, which is a local soup. Buckie is four miles away, that's a working fishing port. You can get boat trips from there to look for dolphins. For more on that, the Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay is about a twenty minute drive.
If you like whisky, you're on the edge of the Speyside region. Plenty of distilleries within a half hour drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, WiFi, TV. There's parking. No pets, sorry.
