Portknockie Escape
Portknockie Escape is a two bedroom cottage in Portknockie, right on the coast. It sleeps four. There’s one bathroom.
The place has been fully renovated, so everything’s fresh and in good nick. The kitchen-diner and sitting room are cosy. There’s a woodburning stove for cooler evenings.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed.
It’s a 5 Star place, basically meaning it’s very well equipped and comfortable. There’s a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi.
Portknockie itself is good for walking. The coastal path is on the doorstep. Cullen is about two miles along the coast. They’ve got a good beach and that soup, cullen skink, if you want to try it.
Buckie is four miles away. You can get dolphin spotting boat trips from there on the Gemini Explorer. Further along, at Spey Bay, there’s the Scottish Dolphin Centre. The Speyside whisky trail isn’t far if that’s your thing.
