Portknockie Escape is in the middle of the village on Main Street. It's a terraced cottage, painted white. You can see the sea from the front bedroom.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It’s a 5 Star, which means it’s recently been done up and everything is in good order. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. There's a woodburning stove for chilly evenings.
The back garden is fully enclosed, which is good for a dog. There's no back door though. To get to it, you go out the front and around to a gate in the lane.
You're a minute's walk from the harbour. The Bow Fiddle Rock is a 10-minute walk along the coast path. Cullen is about two miles along that same path. They've got the famous Cullen skink soup there, and a good ice cream shop.
For dolphin trips, you can drive to Buckie, which is about four miles. The Scottish Dolphin Centre at Spey Bay is a 20-minute drive. If you like whisky, you're on the edge of Speyside. Lots of distilleries to choose from within half an hour.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog. There's on-street parking right outside.
