Boatmans Cottage

Boatmans Cottage is in Portessie, part of Buckie. It's a detached cottage, built in 1863. You're about a hundred yards from the seafront.

It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have a sea view, and the twin room looks towards Seal Island. There are two bathrooms. The kitchen and downstairs bathroom have been done up recently. The downstairs windows have shutters too.

It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. There's a woodburning stove. The stairs are standard for an old cottage.

You can walk to the sandy beach and the harbour in a few minutes. The pub is 350 yards away, the shop is about 500. There's parking for one car on site.

If you walk five minutes behind the cottage, you'll find the old railway line. It's been made into a path for walking and cycling. Good for dogs.

You can see dolphins, whales, and seals on boat trips from Buckie harbour. There are a lot of golf courses around here. The Whisky and Castle trails are nearby if that's your thing.

For your dog, we allow up to two. They'll get their own welcome pack, and you'll get one too.
