Sea Yonder

Sea Yonder is in Buckie, on the Moray Firth coast. The location is the main thing. You look straight out to sea. You see dolphins sometimes.

It's a two bedroom cottage, but it sleeps six because there's a double bed in the conservatory as well. There are two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star property. It's clean and it works, but it's not a show home. It's got character.

You need to know about the stairs. There's a loft ladder to get up to one bedroom. The ceiling is low up there.

The kitchen has an Aga. You'll know if you like that or not. There's a woodburning stove in the living room. Patio doors lead out to a decking area with a hot tub. The view from there is the whole point.

You can walk into Buckie in a few minutes. There are shops, a pub, a swimming pool. The beach is about 200 yards away.

For walks, the coast path from Findochty to Cullen is right there. Bow Fiddle Rock at Portknockie is worth seeing. If you drive 30 minutes west, you're at Spey Bay. You might see otters there. For castles and whisky distilleries, you're in the right part of the world. They're everywhere.

We allow two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a washing machine.
