Shedend is in Nether Dallachy, a hamlet north of Elgin. The cottage is semi-detached. It's all on one level, which is good if you don't want stairs. There's wheelchair access through the French doors.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's comfortable. It's just been redecorated.
The sitting area out the back is enclosed, which is useful for dogs. You can fit two. The view is across fields.
Spey Bay is about a mile away. It's a shingle beach, long and good for walking. The area is known for wildlife: dolphins, seals, sometimes whales. There’s a Whale and Dolphin Centre there. For walks, the Speyside Way passes close by.
Within a thirty minute drive you've got Elgin, about 9 miles. For whisky, the Speyside Malt Whisky Trail starts nearby. There's golf at Spey Bay. The River Spey is there if you fish.
For shops or a pub, you need to drive about four miles. There's a restaurant a mile away.
Inside there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included.
A note: it's peaceful out here. If you're looking for a lot going on right outside the door, it isn't that.
