Shedend is in Nether Dallachy. It's a hamlet, so it's quiet. The cottage is semi-detached, all on one level. You can get in through the French doors at the back, which is flat, so it's good if stairs are a problem.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a shower. We're rated 4 Star. You can bring two dogs.
The back has a small, enclosed bit of garden. It looks out over fields. Inside, it's just a normal cottage. It's got a woodburning stove, which is nice in the evening. There's a dishwasher, a TV, and parking right outside.
You're about a mile from Spey Bay. The beach is shingle. You can see right across the Moray Firth to the mountains in Caithness on a clear day. The Whale and Dolphin Centre is there. People see dolphins and seals from the shore.
There's a golf club at Spey Bay. The Speyside Way walking route passes nearby if you want a long walk. You're not far from the Whisky Trail either. The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in the next village. There's a restaurant a mile down the road.
