This is Firth View, in Kingston on the Moray coast. It's a semi-detached fisherman's cottage. Been here a while, but it’s comfortable and does the job for a group.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's clean and functional rather than luxury. The garden's enclosed, which is handy if you've got dogs or kids.
You're right on the coast here. The beach is about fifty yards away. It's shingle and sand, good for a walk. You often see seals from the shore, and sometimes dolphins out in the firth. Bring binoculars.
Locally, there's a golf course a few minutes' walk away. The village has a coffee shop in Garmouth, about a mile along. The proper shop is in Spey Bay, four miles.
If you like whisky, you're in the right spot. Lots of distilleries are within half an hour for tours. The Cairngorms National Park is inland for walks and scenery. Elgin's not far if you need a bigger town or want to see the cathedral.
For facilities, you've got the basics: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for two cars. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
Some useful links: for the local walks and wildlife, the NatureScot site is good. For the whisky trail, the Malt Whisky Trail has the details.
