Firth View is in Kingston, right on the Moray coast. It's a semi-detached fisherman's cottage, one of two. You're basically across from the beach, maybe fifty yards. The garden is yours and it's enclosed.
The cottage sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms, one of them is a shower room. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. It's got that solid, old cottage feel.
The beach is shingle and the water's cold, but it's very wide and open. You'll see birds, and if you're lucky, dolphins out in the firth. The local golf course is just down the lane.
For a coffee or a bite, there's a place in Garmouth, about a mile's walk along the coast. The proper shop is in Spey Bay, which is about four miles away.
You're right on the Speyside Way for walking. The Whisky Trail starts inland from here too, if that's your thing. Elgin is about twenty minutes by car for the cathedral or shopping. For a bigger day out, the Cairngorms are within half an hour's drive.
What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking for two cars. You can bring two dogs.
