Auldfield

Auldfield is my place in Lhanbryde. It's a detached bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac. You get the whole garden to yourselves out the back. It looks over farmland.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. It's all on one floor, which is handy.

The garden is terraced. It gets the sun in the evening. There's parking right outside.

The village shop and a pub are about half a mile away. The pub does meals. Elgin is five miles. It's got the big shops, a cinema, and places to eat. The cathedral ruins are worth a look if you like history.

The coast is about fifteen minutes by car. Garmouth beach is shingle and where the Spey meets the sea. You often see seals there, and dolphins sometimes. For sandy beaches, Lossiemouth is a bit further along. It's good for a walk.

If you like whisky, you're in the right area. A lot of distilleries are within a half hour drive. Gordon & MacPhail in Elgin is a good place to start.

Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. TV too. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
