Jebel

Jebel is a detached cottage in Cullen, about 200 yards back from the beach. It's got three bedrooms. Two are upstairs in the attic. One of those has an en-suite shower room. The third bedroom is on the ground floor if stairs are a problem.

The front garden is yours. It's not huge but you get outside space with a view towards the sea. The cottage has a good shower, a woodburning stove that works well, and a dishwasher. There's a washing machine too. Everything is included, bedding and towels as well.

Cullen's a good spot. Everything you need is a short walk away. The shop is about five minutes. The pub and places to eat are even closer. Obviously, you have to try the Cullen Skink here.

The beach and harbour are just down the hill. You can walk along the big sandy bay for miles. If you keep going, you'll reach Sunnyside Beach and the ruins of Findlater Castle. People often see dolphins in the Moray Firth from the coast path.

There's a golf course nearby. The local walks are good. The Bin Hill inland route is popular. You might see deer or birds of prey up there.

You can drive along the coast to other villages. Portsoy or Banff aren't far. For a longer day out, Speyside and its distilleries are about a half hour drive. You could also go up to Lossiemouth or down to Elgin.
