The Brae Steading is next to our house, just outside the village of Fordyce. It's a barn we converted. It's detached, so you're on your own, and we're next door if you need anything.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a big, open space inside, which is nice, and it's very warm. The main room has big French doors that look out over the fields to the sea. There's a little patio out there with a table and chairs. The garden is about an acre and your bit is fenced, so it's secure for dogs.
The village of Fordyce is about a ten-minute walk. It's an old place with narrow streets and a castle right in the middle of them. There's a good bistro there that does evening meals and weekend lunches.
The beach at Sandend is about a mile and a half away. You can drive it in a few minutes or walk it in about three quarters of an hour. It's a sandy beach. People swim and surf there. Portsoy and Cullen are along the coast for walks. Inland, there are castles and distilleries.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
