Needle Cottage
Needle Cottage is in Cullen. It's an old fisherman's cottage in the Seatown part of the village. It sleeps four, in a double and a twin room. They share one bathroom. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean.
The stairs inside are steep and a bit narrow. They're original. Just something to be aware of.
You're about a minute's walk from the beach. It's a big sandy beach with these big rocks called the Three Kings. You can see Moray Firth dolphins from the shore sometimes.
Out the front there's a little south-facing seating area. It gets the sun. At the back, there's a separate outbuilding with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There's space in there for bikes.
In the village there's a pub, a few shops, and cafes. You should try the Cullen skink, which is the local fish soup.
The Moray Coast Trail is right there for walking or cycling. Cullen Golf Club is a links course right next to the beach.
For a day out, you're about half an hour from Elgin. Duffus Castle is about 20 minutes away. If you want to go a bit further, Speyside with all its distilleries is maybe 45 minutes inland.
The cottage has WiFi, TV, and all bedding and towels are included. There's no pet allowance.
