Needle Cottage is in Cullen, in the Seatown part of the village. It's an old fisherman's cottage, so it's part of a row. It's got a 3 Star rating, which means it's clean and comfortable but not luxurious.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one double and one twin. They both look out towards the viaduct. There's one bathroom, which has a view of the sea. Downstairs, there's a main living room, a smaller snug room at the back, a dining room, and the kitchen. The stairs are fairly steep, as you'd expect.
Out the back there's a shed with a washing machine and tumble dryer. You can put bikes in there. At the front there's a little south-facing patio. It gets the sun and is sheltered from the wind.
The beach is literally less than a minute's walk away. It's a big sandy beach with these large rocks called the Three Kings. You can often see dolphins from the shore. The village itself has a few shops and places to eat. You should try the Cullen skink, it's the local dish.
For a day out, the Moray Coast Trail is right there for walking. The golf course is just behind the beach. If you drive, you can get to places like Elgin or Buckie in under half an hour. Further afield, you're not far from the Cairngorms National Park.
The facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. Sorry, no pets.
