The Stables
The Stables is in Longridge, Lancashire. It's a converted barn, so it's one big open space downstairs with the living area and kitchen together. The front's all glass, so you get a good view of the fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with super king beds you can split into twins if you need to. Each bedroom has its own shower room. It's a 4 Star place, so it's done up nicely. Underfloor heating downstairs, which is good in winter.
The garden at the front is enclosed. There's a table and chairs out there. Parking is right next to the property for one car.
Longridge is a small town on the edge of the Ribble Valley. There are a few pubs, shops, and cafes you can walk to. For a bigger day out, the coast at Lytham St Annes is about half an hour's drive. Blackpool is a bit further on, maybe 40 minutes.
It's good walking country straight from the door. The Forest of Bowland is on your doorstep. For a longer walk, you can drive to the National Trust at Aysgarth Falls in under an hour, or Forest of Bowland is closer. Clitheroe's nearby too, with its castle and market.
In terms of what's there: Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
