Cherry Tree Cottage
Cherry Tree Cottage is in Mellor, which is just north of Blackburn. It's detached, set back from the lane with its own drive.
It sleeps ten, which is a lot. There are five bedrooms and, usefully, six bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms are en-suite and have zip and link beds, so you can set them up as twins or super kings. The rating is 4 Star, so it's well finished.
The stairs are fine, normal stairs. The kitchen is open plan with the dining area. It's got everything you'd need, and a separate utility room with a washing machine. The lounge has a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, the garden is enclosed and looks out over fields. There's a hot tub in a private bit of the garden. There's also an outdoor shower for dogs, which is handy if you've been walking.
You can bring up to two dogs.
The location is quiet. You're in the Ribble Valley, so it's good for walking straight from the door. For a day out, the Forest of Bowland is on your doorstep. Forest of Bowland National Landscape has maps and routes. Clitheroe is close by for shops and cafes. The market town of Skipton is about a 30 minute drive. For a bigger trip, the Yorkshire Dales or the Lancashire coast are both within an hour.
There's on-site parking. We also have another property on the same site, so larger groups can book both together.
