Coed Y Gaer Annexe
Coed Y Gaer Annexe is attached to our farmhouse, just outside the village of Llansilin. It's quiet here. You get your own enclosed garden area with a picnic bench. The views from the bedroom window look out over our fields.
It's for two people. One bedroom upstairs, one shower room downstairs. It's got a 4 Star rating. We've done it up so it's clean and comfortable, with decent wifi and Netflix if you want it.
The kitchen has what you need, including a dishwasher. The stairs up to the bedroom are a standard flight, not a ladder. There's parking right outside.
You're welcome to bring one dog. We ask that it stays downstairs and off the furniture.
Oswestry is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's got supermarkets and shops. For a day out, Llangollen is within half an hour. You can go on the steam railway there, or walk along the canal. Chirk Castle and Erddig are both National Trust properties nearby.
If you like walking, the Llangollen area has good routes. The Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall is about fifteen minutes drive away. It's impressive after rain.
Chester is under an hour's drive if you want a city day. It's good for shopping and seeing the old walls.
