Scarlet House
Scarlet House is a lovely place to unwind in after a day’s long adventure. The kitchen/dining room is equipped for your self-catering holiday which has a door leading to an outhouse with treadmill and access to the garden. There is a generous sized living room complete with a sofa bed, where you can chill out after a busy day, sit back, and watch TV. There are two good sized bedrooms both featuring double beds, as well as a small gym room with yoga mats and weights, and a family bathroom. Scarlet House also welcomes four-legged members of the family.
The beautiful city of Bath is just 4 miles from the village of Batheaston and is a unique destination brimming with things to do. Shopaholics will love exploring the city, or simply relax and unwind in one of the many bars or restaurants. The city has even been designated a United Nations Educational Scientific and Cultural Organisation World Heritage Site. This creative, unique, and stylish city is the only city in the UK where you can bathe in original Roman-style baths. Within half an hour’s drive you can visit many popular places close by such as, Bristol, Castle Combe, Lacock, Bradford-on-Avon and many more.
For those staying over the festive season, be sure to visit the Bath Christmas Markets. Bristol has many attractions and great shopping at Cabot Circus, which has over ninety shops, as well as a mix of restaurants and a cinema. This is a great base from which to explore Somerset. The city of Wells is just under an hour away, as well as Glastonbury with its famous tor and abbey.
