Ocean View is a bungalow just outside Port William in Dumfriesshire. It's called that because you can see the sea from it. The view is the main thing.
It's a one bedroom place, so it sleeps two. It's all on the ground floor and the front is wheelchair friendly. Inside it's open plan, so the living room, kitchen and dining area are all one space. There's a veranda out the front where you can sit when it's dry.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well kept and comfortable. Everything you need is there: bedding, towels, washing machine, WiFi, and a TV. There's parking right outside and a shed if you want to store bikes.
Port William village is a short drive away. It's got a shop, a café and a restaurant. The coast and beaches are about three miles from the cottage. There are lots of quiet lanes for cycling and local fishing if that's your thing.
If you want to explore, you can drive down the coast to places like Portpatrick or the Isle of Whithorn. The Mull of Galloway, which is the southernmost point in Scotland, is worth a trip. It's got a lighthouse and an RSPB nature reserve on the cliffs. For walks and general information, the National Trust for Scotland Galloway page is useful.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
